INDUSTRY 4.0-CYBERSECURITY HACKATHON

The hackathon will seek to create a knowledge exchange platform on threat identification in an ICS environment through the use big data and machine learning. The concept is meant to elucidate a Cybersecurity solution that identifies vulnerable points in an IIoT system through a machine learning algorithm that makes use of IIoT generated data and defined features. It will also explore the nature of ICS technology, the associated threat landscape and how Big Data processing can help play a role in the security of the overall industrial control systems. In principle, the concept of the challenge will be in the form of “Capture The Flag”. The concept is led by AMNET Cyberdefence Netron in collaboration with @iLabAfrica Research Centre of Strathmore University and VMWare.
HackTrin VII: NYC Hackathon for High Schoolers and Middle Schoolers

HackTrin VII is the seventh iteration of Trinity School’s annual hackathon. Middle and high schoolers, of any experience level, can participate. You can form teams of 1-4 students, even across different schools, and work to make projects relating to coding. We'll have workshops and mentors to help you with your projects and learn! We will announce the secret theme two weeks before HackTrin, after which you can start planning (but not coding or building). Coding and building starts March 8th. You’ll present your projects to our panels of judges to win prizes in multiple categories (including a beginner category)!
